Project Overview

For my major's senior Capstone project, we were split into groups, to come up with and create projects to submit to alt-ctrl GDC 2026 (aka. Game Developers Conference). Our task was to create an alternative controller experience, and we came up with RAMPAGE! inspired by the film Ratatouille, controlling something using its hair.

In RAMPAGE! you sit on the shoulders of a giant, leaning left and right to move and pull its hair to punch. This was certainly a challenge, creating the controller using Arduino sensors, and transferring the data through serial communication to Unity and implementing it into the game.
